Weed Busters specialises in treating vacant lots, so builders and developers can start with a site full of dead weeds.

IMPORTANT: Don't Wait Until It's a Jungle..

When it comes to site handover and council compliance, timing is everything. If you wait until the weeds are waist-high to call us, standard spraying is no longer an option. To keep your vacant blocks clean, compliant, and ready for construction, weed management needs to start early and stay consistent.

The 200mm Rule (Ankle Height)..

​

• Catch them early: Weeds must be sprayed when they are under 200mm (ankle height).

• Why? Once weeds mature past this point, chemical knockdown becomes highly inefficient, because the smaller weeds under the bigger ones wont get the herbicide, and you run the risk of council fines or expensive slashing costs.

Our Recommended 6-Month Protection Plan..​

A single spray won't last the duration of a build. To maintain a clean site and prevent regrowth, we recommend a scheduled program:

• 3 sprays over a 6-month period.

• This keeps the soil residual active, kills new germinations early, and ensures your site stays compliant from earthworks to handover.

We can treat most vacant blocks up to approximately 2,000 m².

• ✔ Standard residential blocks – no problem

• ✔ Larger lots – accessible as long as the site allows entry for a 2-wheel-drive spray vehicle

• ✔ Tight or uneven sites – we also have hose-reel access for hard-to-reach areas
